Boopy is really very good at restaurants and is very adventurous with food.

We do "Baby Led Weaning" with Mister Boopy, meaning he didn't get a whole lot of purees, but is allowed to explore food and eat chunks on his own, with supervision. He does really well, although when he really likes something, he'll gorge on too big pieces. The gag reflex is normal in baby led weaning- and helps them learn about how not to choke in earnest. But it can be a bit freaky sometimes!
He's so adorable! Bella didn't get too much mushy stuff either, and nowadays she prefers something nice and chunky. Often, sh'ell eat half a slice of bread or something like that, on her own (with supervision again of course)and the other day she ate an entire fish stick and almost all of a big tablespoon full of peas! Yay for baby led weaning!
