Viking Festival

On a lovely spring day, we went to the Viking Festival in Ashville, OH. There were some, shall we say, anachronistic elements there?

Like jousting?!

Rowan was entranced, though!

He also demanded we go inside and watch the bellydancers
for at least 10 minutes (which in 3 year old time is like, an HOUR!) 

We went inside and sat down and he watched three separate dances.

At one of the booths, he met a "pirate" with a fake parrot on his
shoulder that talked. He was given a silver sixpence.

He wanted to see the viking boat really bad.

So he climbed the ladder and looked inside!

We had fun.
