Halloween(s) 2014

Rowan got to do two Trick or Treat nights this year- one in Tiffin with his pal Esme (where he borrowed a costume from her and was "an inside out man" and one in Clintonville where he was a leopard.

Rowan's costume was Esme's school project on anatomy-
colored in organs on a paper bag,
and a head band with a brain on it!
He chose that over many many more options.

Esme was Winnie the Pooh and her little brother Xander was a bee.

Tricks or Treats in Tiffin.

He was scared of this house- scary masks and an actual chainsaw!

Xander being pulled along.

Baby Xander's first Halloween!
Ohio, and the rest of the country, is ridiculously paranoid about Halloween. People must sit on their porches or sit next to the trunk of a car to pass out candy, it is reigned in in strict timelines and in Columbus and Tiffin, does not even happen on Halloween proper (if it falls on a weekend). How dumb.

Beggar's Night for Clintonville was Thursday the 30th.

He loved being a leopard. He told everyone what his costume was and
corrected people when they called him a cheetah.

Mama was so busy, she was painting spots the day of-
so his lower backside was unspotted. Sigh. But he did not notice or care.

The costume was a tad snug, so he kept picking at his butt. LOL

We allowed him to have one candy choice afterwards.
He chose a candy bracelet. He had never seen one before and laughed maniacally
about it on the sidewalk after we got it for 10 minutes.

By the time we got home, his makeup was trashed.
