Yesterday, we went with our friends Rachel and Esme to the Harvest Festival in San Mateo. While it wasn't what we expected (shouldn't a harvest festival be outside in the fine fall air?), we exposed the kids to acrobats, live music and ballet, and fun toys and marionettes!
Boop and Esme, after lunch.
Ambushed by furry weird dog marionettes. Naturally, they made him squeeeee!
That boy loves animals, even fake ones.
We ended up getting him an old timey push stick toy- he liked the penguin best, so that's the one he got. He laughs when he sees the penguins feet flap as it "walks".
You can't really see it, but he is laughing!
Yay! Penguins!
These are his new shoes. He has already outgrown his first pair.
These have cute mushrooms and trees on them.

Trying to make the penguin do what daddy did...
Thank the Gods that Señor Boopy can now hold his own bottle.
Back at Esme's house, where we spent Shabbat.
See the wood toy train that Esme's moms got her? Same place we got the penguin!
