Bay Area Discovery Museum, Part Three

Watching the waterfall.
One thing that the Boop loves is playing in water. We will be going to Lake Temescal a lot this summer, as well as the ocean and maybe getting a kiddie pool.

At this museum, they had a raised artificial creekbed for the kids to play in, complete with toy trout and frogs. Booper loved it. He could have stayed at that one activity all day. We literally had to pull him away onto the next activity.

Meh...

Esme was ready to move on after a while, but Rowan could have stayed there all day.

Be free!
When given a toy trout, he was so cute. He wanted to release it into the water and let it swim on its own.

Because he wasn't touching it, other kids would think it was up for grabs and try and play with it.

He would take it back from them and release it again into the water. I know it is speculation, but I think he knows that fish probably don't like being touched and want to swim free, like they do at the aquarium. How cute is that?

I release you, fishie!

At the tall part of the creekbed.

SRSLY? This is the best place, ever!
